Ergonomics AG acquired by audius SE

Jul 01, 2025

„Ready for the future – stronger together“

As part of a targeted growth strategy, Ergonomics AG will join audius SE, an internationally active IT group headquartered in Germany, effective July 1, 2025.

This transaction marks a significant milestone for both organizations and aims to combine complementary strengths, leverage synergies, and expand their positioning within the German-speaking markets.

The executive leadership of Ergonomics AG – CEO Alexander Schümperli and COO Martin Weiss – will remain fully engaged in the company. All employees will be retained as part of the integration, ensuring business continuity and enabling the sustainable evolution of existing structures.

“This partnership unlocks significant strategic potential – both in terms of our portfolio expansion and geographic growth, particularly within Switzerland and the German market,” says CEO Alexander Schümperli.

COO Martin Weiss adds: “The combination of competencies between Ergonomics and audius’ subsidiaries offers additional potential to strengthen our market position in Switzerland and successfully establish our solutions in the German market. By leveraging the resources of the 700-strong audius team, we can broaden our project pipeline and deliver complex customer solutions with greater efficiency.”

audius SE operates across 20 locations worldwide, including 13 in Germany, and serves a diversified client base ranging from global corporations to mid-sized enterprises. The group focuses on deploying forward-looking technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud architectures, and integrated platform solutions, providing a comprehensive portfolio of IT services, software development, and process digitization.
The partnership’s objective is to drive joint growth as a technology partner and to further expand business activities in Switzerland and internationally.

“With this important step, we can significantly broaden our solution portfolio and continue to meet the high standards of our clients in terms of security, quality, and innovation,” concludes Alexander Schümperli.
