Vaadin Success Story: RhB Gateway Backend

Rhätische Bahn AG operates a gateway for reservation requests on RhB trains and 3 other affiliated partner railways. The gateway accepts reservation requests from the international UIC reservation system and forwards them to the responsible reservation system of the respective partner railway. In addition to simplified integration into the international booking systems for partner railways, the gateway provides the monthly consolidated booking data for financial accounting between the partners involved.

The interface for configuration, maintenance and analysis work was implemented as a Vaadin application.
